Precisely control blade speed up to 3,200 SPM with the variable speed trigger and dial, for professional results no matter what you’re cutting. 4-position orbital action lets you adjust for optimal cutting of a variety of materials. A bright LED light illuminates dim work surfaces and makes it easy to follow cut lines. The updated all-metal, lever-action keyless blade clamp is designed for quick and easy blade changes of t-shank jig saw blades. Also keyless, the shoe bevel is easy to adjust with detents at 0, 15, 30, and a positive stop at 45. A removable shoe cover helps protect materials from scratches, and an integrated dust blower helps remove dust and debris from your line of sight as you cut.

I have the 611 corded style of this router and this one is better. Its so much more easy to handle and has comparable power. It seems like this is also quieter then the corded tool. Good balance and decent runtime make this router perfect for putting the edge on a board without getting all tangled up in a cord.

great saw. I am a cabinet maker. its nice to just grab it and cut. well balanced even with big battery, solid feel, a bit heavy but that is good so it won’t bounce around, cuts nice, the plastic foot cover protects surfaces, led light is great. I was going to buy the Red brand but that did not have the blade modulation feature which is a must. if on, it cuts way faster, BUT never have it on with down cut blades. only bad thing is the price, $200 without battery or charger is high. but if you have their 20v batteries for other tools, or want to change to Dewalt, ok.

Purchased the Dewalt cordless jigsaw to make curved cuts in wood. It’s great not worrying about a power cord in the way when you’re cutting something with a blade. Lighter battery packs are fine through thinner wood thicknesses. So far I’ve cut 1/4 and 1/2 inch ply. I have yet to try this on greater thickness. The size and weight of this brushless model is outstanding and is well balanced even with the battery packs attached. Also, this jig saw features an air port in the front, which will blow away dust from the cutting area so you can see what you’re cutting. I would recommend this product if you don’t mind spending a bit extra for the convenience of not having to worry about a power cord.
