The saw works like a charm. It’s light and well balanced and runs a good long time on the battery. I like that I can cut wood or metal (with the right blade).

I got this tool as the free tool in the battery/charger/bag promotion. I used the tool to cut the door moldings around a bathroom door while tiling the floor and it worked great. It is much more convenient to use than my other corded oscillating tool. Blade changes are tool-less and easy. I’m liking this tool a lot. With the addition of this tool, I doubt I will ever need the corded one again!

First and foremost, I’d like to clarify that I am writing a review for the DRILL, and not the OSCILLATING tool. For whatever reason, the two items are mixed and the reviews may not be as accurate with its rating. All my other Dewalt tools are brushless, and this was the first brushed tool I purchased. Although I can see how it might be “overworking” the brushed drill when I’m drilling holes, I still think the driver drill is one of those exceptions where it’s okay to purchase a cheaper model. It was a great deal, so I had to get my hands on the 2 batteries and a tool bag included.
