Bought and been using this product for a year now and I’m not sure what I did without it. I wished I was the joker that invented the multi-oscillating tool and Dewalt has taken theirs out to the front of the pack. This tool will do things no other type tool can. I’ve used mine for notching and trimming wood in places no other tool would, cutting hard to reach nails, cutting receptacle holes in drywall, and a number of various other needful applications. It has plenty of power and the spring-loaded blade chuck will never release its blade until you are ready. Although I prize all my Dewalt tools and try to never drop one, this has fallen several times from where I’ve laid it and every time I pick it back up with confidence and get back to work. Solid, heavy duty quality. This ones a winner

I’ve owned this tool for a few years now. Don’t use everyday but would be lost without. I’m very much a DIY person and help a local contractor on the side. This tool is an efficiency gainer. Examples of what I use it for: cutting shims when setting doors, finishing cuts on stair stringers, any hard to reach cut I need to make. The one thing I have never tried to do with it is sand so cannot speak to how that works. If you own a home, you are even the mildest bit handy, buy this tool. It’s an investment that will pay for itself 3-time in the course of a year.

I just bought the tool for some home improvement projects, variable speed is great for starting cuts. After a little experimenting with some scrap pieces worked great for cutting plywood for shelves. I’d have given 5 stars if it had the parts for the belt clip like drills and impacts have.

I recently bought the dcs356 and have to say it’s a neccessary addition to every dewalt guy’s arsenal. This things so versatile and with the depth guide its given me more confidence and a better finished product. The only little issue i have is that it didnt ship with an instruction Manuel to refer back on for accessories and parts etc etc. Bang up job dewalt!
