I am a shop manager for a glass company. We currently have 5 of the Oscillating tools that we use every day to remove residential and commercial glass. We use to use a long knife and would labor cutting out old stubborn caulking and glue. We have times where we would have injuries due to working close to the glass. Not anymore!!! My workers are safer and jobs are getting done faster now that all my installers have one!

I purchased this tool to aid specifically in redoing some tile work in the master bathroom. It worked phenomenally. I do a good deal of wood working on the side as well and this tool works fantastic at so many different applications its ridiculous. From disassembling pallets in no time to getting some finishing sanding touches on hard to reach places this thing is fantastic. I can’t wait to see what new types of addons they come out with for this tool. I would really love to see a metal specific “bit” for this tool as I found it works really well at trimming body panels on vehicles.

We use the Dewalt Oscillating Multi-Tool for trimming door jams, drywall repairs, to trim flooring, and even for cutting PVC piping in plumbing repairs. The Multi Tool is a powerful all purpose tool; and once you own one, you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it. It lasts forever; and the 20 volt batteries hold a charge for hours. You’ll be glad to own one.

Great tool but would like to see a lock for the trigger so the tool does not turn on in the tool box. Also would be nice if it had a belt clip on it.

Originally I bought the Atomic version, but I returned it for this one. The selector switch gives more control over use of the tool. I have used it to cut wood, nails, and concrete backerboard without any issues. This tool has exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

This did an awesome job for what I needed it for. I’ve only had it for a month but I see plenty of uses for this tool whereas a reciprocal saw wouldn’t work!

I just bought this for a project that I did this past week. I needed to do a to. Of undercutting and it worked super well. With the quick change feature and multi speed options, it really performed great. Thank you for such a great tool design.

I added this tool to my growing 20V kit and think this is one of the best tools you can purchase. I love how easily this product can cut through materials without cutting your skin. I find this is a huge benefit when considering safety. When cutting steel, the amount of sparking is also minimal so the danger to starting fires is dramatically lower. This tool cuts through plastic pipe like a knife through butter. I have slid the blades behind my wood trim to cut nails and remove the trim without any damage. With the smaller blades, I have been able to cut out sections of wood to access behind it with minimal damage. The same way i used this on my trim, I used it to slide behind wood door frames to cut the nails so I could remove the door without damage and reuse it. If you’re ever used a sawzall to cut through a section of wood floor to remove a board or even a section of sheet metal on a furnace duct, you’ll immediately appreciate this tool and may not ever pick up the clumsy sawzall again for most jobs. I LOVE this tool and also appreciate the long life batteries seem to have with this. It’s also nice to be able to orient the blades into variable angles to accommodate various tight places.
