Got this Dewalt oscillator/multitool kit on Cyber Monday for $130. Value and features beat Makita tool, even though i have Makita batteries. Has been a lifesaver in refinishing a window frame and bedroom. Able to notch out the sill with wood blade, scrape layers of paint off, and sand tight corners with the sanding pad. Use the 3 speed mode too. Low speed on the scraping and high and medium on sanding. I like the slim 2ah battery, but it only lasts about 30-40 minutes of continuous use. Probably going to get an additional battery. Still very satisfied with tool kit.

I took back the one H.D. was selling for 109 dollars at Christmas and got this instead.It is an excellent little tool.I have a ten year old Fein Multimaster that is corded that works incredibly for bigger jobs.For small jobs though this is it.I have a ton of Milwaukee M18 tools but this tool is much better thought out.The blade change design is far superior to the Milwaukee design.It won’t out perform the Fein on big jobs,but for everyday little stuff,this is it.

I really like this tool; I purposely purchased this tool in order to undercut doorjambs for a bathroom flooring installation. Without it I would have had to undercut them by hand. The only complaint I have is that the depth stop attachment doesn’t lock & it vibrates loose making it useless.
