The DEWALT DCS371B Cordless Band saw is ideal for cutting a variety of materials. This saw powers through Conduit up to 2 in. Dia. 1-5/8 in. Unistrut, SCH 40 Pipe up to 2 in., All thread, Square and Rectangular Tubing and Angle Iron. Centered handle position provides superior balance and ergonomics and allows for more accurate cuts and less user fatigue.
- LED work light with 20-second delay illuminates dark work surfaces for accurate cutting
- Integrated hang hook allows user to hang the saw without damaging the front handle or base
- Blade tracking adjustment increases blade life by providing better blade tracking
- Tool less blade changing lever loosens blade tension to allow for blade change

I purchased this kit while it was on sale, which actually made it cheaper than just buying the tool only. Like other DeWalt products, the Band Saw tool is a solid tool that gets the job done quickly and effortlessly. I do a lot of small projects around the house and like to have tools handy for any occasion, and while I don’t use this on a regular basis by any means, there are times when it has come in very handy and I’m glad I had it. The handle fits nicely in your hand and give you steady, solid control while making cuts. The battery is nice in that it lasts a long time and fits many other tools in the DeWalt lineup. If you’re shopping for this tool and you’re on the fence, just get it! You’ll be glad you did.

The portable band saw is quick and easy to use on the ground or in the air. No lugging around electrical cords. All of my power tools are cordless Dewalts, so the battery is inter-changeable and I always have one charged and ready to go. After always borrowing a co-worker’s, I finally got my own. I’ve only owned it for a month but so far, so good.
