The DEWALT DCS371B Cordless Band saw is ideal for cutting a variety of materials. This saw powers through Conduit up to 2 in. Dia. 1-5/8 in. Unistrut, SCH 40 Pipe up to 2 in., All thread, Square and Rectangular Tubing and Angle Iron. Centered handle position provides superior balance and ergonomics and allows for more accurate cuts and less user fatigue.
- LED work light with 20-second delay illuminates dark work surfaces for accurate cutting
- Integrated hang hook allows user to hang the saw without damaging the front handle or base
- Blade tracking adjustment increases blade life by providing better blade tracking
- Tool less blade changing lever loosens blade tension to allow for blade change
- Dual bearing blade guide rollers provides increased durability in the blade support system

I purchase my portable band saw to install a commercial gas job for my local micro brewery “King’s Brewing”. This job required up to 2″ black pipe to be cut and fit for over 100 ft. to complete their gas needs. This job was tough enough by it’s nature, but to cut using other types of saws hand or electric powered would of been very time consuming. This portable band saw cut this 2″ black pipe like it was butter, never once kicked or bound up in the cutting process. Easy to use overhead and in tight spaces, turns out to truly be the best saw a contractor could of use for a job like this. Lastly was very impressed the number of cuts I was able to make on the 20 Volt 3.0 Ah. Attached are a couple of photos taken during this gas pipe installation.
