This battery is hard decision for me on a price point. It cost as much as a flexvolt battery unless on sale. All of that aside a nice size battery, not much bigger than a 5amp smaller than a flexvolt 6amp. I just don’t see were it fits in the market place. When you already own 1-few flexvolt batteries it makes a easier transition to a flexvolt bare-tool.

I have found this to be a better choice for my 71/4 slide saw ,radio charger, and small blower so I imagine it would improve run time on all their tools . There was a very noticeable change to the slide saw compared to the 4 amp . The saw sounded more robust, as if it had more power and it wasn’t working as hard . Compared to a 5 amp battery I can’t compare as I don’t have any .
