Great bandsaw cuts 3in pipe like butter

I had a corded version on my service van for years and had been waiting to justify the purchase to the owner. Had several large jobs this summer where we need additional tools, it makes no sense to buy corded when cordless is just a few dollars more. Takes regular sized blades, operates just like a corded model. Great balance and so far built like all of the DeWalt commercial-quality products.

WOW…… This fabulous Bad Saw cuts through steel pipe like butter. My first use with some 3/4″ black steel pipe was admazing…… The saw handles well and is comfy to use.

cuts through mild steel, wood Plastic like butter. Beats a sawzaw hands down. The cordless model lets you move around freely. Can’t wait to try it out on harder steels.

I purchased this on Friday and put it to work Monday. I was doing a welding project and needed to cit 2 1/2 inch angle iron. I thought it would take some time to cut 1/8 thick metal. When I started the first cut it took no time at all. It took me much less time than using a chop saw and the cut was remarkable smooth and precise. I shoul hawe purchased it earlier. It would have saved a great deal of time cleaning welds and my projects would have been more precise.

Another quality product from Dewalt. I work in construction where conditions change and can be tough. Dewalt stands up to the abuse my tools take. This band saw is no different, it gives a nice smooth cut on anything I’m working with, everytime. The 5″ opening allows cuts on most material.

This saw is a beast for what I need! I cut through a solid 2″ brass rod with no issues what so ever! It has the power and muscle to get the job done.

This is a heavy duty product. built by Dewalt. It does the job with plenty of spare power for more cuts!

I love how it cuts heavy gauge steel like it was butter. The deep cut feature is superb for large pieces of Metal.

I cut everything from threaded rod to 5×3 x1/2”angle iron. I got some 10 TPI blades for cuttingthick material And I couldn’t believe how great the saw cut better watch your eyes this thing really slings the metal. This thing is a beast. I normally run a corded Milwaukee band saw when I’m welding, but now that I have bought the cordless dewalt it’s my go to. Great to take on the scissor lift or ladder to make a cut in the air. Get yourself a few big batterys I run the 4 amp ones and works great. Wish the foot on the saw was adjustable like my Milwaukee the dewalt backstop looks big and goofy also the led light sounds good in theory but it tends to throw a shadow on the material being cut might not matter on a piece of threaded rod but on some things my measurements are down to a 16 th of an inch. Best fix is get yourself some electrical tape and tape up the light since they did not make a on/ off button as the folks at Milwaukee did. None the less this is a great tool

Didn’t know how much time this tool would save me in my line of work it’s light easy to use, battery last a long to time, easy to change band. I would have bought this band saw a long time ago if I would have known how much time I would have saved
