I’ve had it since my gf bought for me at Christmas 2017. I had an 18volt saw and kit since the late 90’s.I finally switched platforms to all 20volt. Dewalt battery powered tools are almost indestructible. I am hard and abusive on everything. This saw is tough, light, compact, and powerful and I run it with a 4AH battery and it cuts a long time.

Before purchasing this cordless subcompact, I’ve always used the corded 12 amp DeWalt reciprocating saw. The performance is identical if not more powerful.
