Tool is sturdy and does a great job with demolition. Cutting through 2×4’s and nails is a quick job. Comes with a decent battery, however this tool is a power sucker. Definitely could benefit from having a larger pack standard.

Great Saw —BUT— 2amp battery, come on! The combo kit $200 and Dewalt gives you the cheapest battery they make. That’s the only reason for the 3 stars. Hopefully this review makes it to the Dewalt Corporation.. probably not.

Good saw, but the smaller battery included doesn’t last long. Smaller batteries only lasted 8-10 minutes cutting 1-3 inch branches. The bigger battery did better, but then you need 3-4 batteries so 1 is charging while 1 or 2 cooldown. Better and safer than a small chainsaw, but costs more too. Overall a good investment
