I bought this kit as a partner with my father because he wanted me and my brother to cut cedar trees in his pastures for him. While we were deciding what type of saw to use he said no to getting a weed eater because that would be way more dangerous. Where as a sawzall would be lighter and more compact so I would definitely recommend this kit to any one.

Had been thinking about getting one of these for trimming small trees and shrubs, then we saw one being used at a Christmas Tree farm… no more dull bow saws for us!! Chainsaws are too heavy for me to use safely and this DeWalt easily trims small branches and shrubs out of our 8 acres. Easier to custom trim the base of the Christmas tree, too, better than a chain saw!
