30 plus yr contractor here so I am not going to repeat the obvious here….HAHA.Every positive thing said about this SawZall is true…and then some.The only thing this beast is lacking is a rafter hook…..BUT…..this gets 5 stars anyway.Plus at the sale price for the kit…. pricing just the charger and battery alone I got the saw for around 30 bucks.

It’s a beast. We need this to cut through thick steel, and it gets the job done. I was surprised how long the one battery lasted, and it charges quickly. Just make sure you get the right blades (carbide tipped).

Very solid made tool, and I would give the saw itself a 4 star rating. For the price I would of like to of seen the ability to screw in a second handle in multiple places on the saw for comfort. I would also like to see a laser pointer attached to the top when working in darker places the light is nice a laser would be better.Why I’m giving it an average rating – I’ve used other cheaper reciprocating saws with much less battery specs that seem to have the same amount of cutting time. Almost to the ridiculous seeing that this is a brand new set up and I can’t make it to lunch without needing a new battery. Buy the kit but get a lemon of a battery
