I am an electrician & a carpenter, & I can’t tell you how many times this tool has saved me time w/cordless convenience & power of a corded saw. With the right blade, I cut threw a cast iron 1.50″ plumbing elbow like it was butter! I was able to “finesse the cut w/the variable speed trigger in order to nibble away at the pipe in order to not damage the threads of the ajoining pipe. The power surprised me, it saved me , Icould not mechanically unfasten the joint due to corrosion & the length of time the pipe was joined.

Heavily builtQuick and easy blade changes, holds the blade equally cutting up or down.I tested it out cutting tree limbs and found that it makes very quick work of it in any location no matter how remote.I ran around trimming trees and cutting out dead wood for hours and the power never waned a bit. So, I can’t really say how long it will work on a single charge.I mounted the charger to the wall in my shop… it has two perfectly placed built-in cutouts for wall mounting. When it’s charging a battery, there is a fan that turns on so you know when batteries are being charged. As mentioned, I used it for hours of trimming work, came in and swapped batteries, putting the used battery on charge. Within 10 minutes, the used battery was at full charge again. Result, I will never need more than the included 2 batteries for what I’m doing. I definitely recommend this Reciprocating Saw… get it, it’s simply the best I could find at any price. It’s going to last the rest of my life probably.IF my son doesn’t sneak away with it to work on cars!!!

Totally worth the money the batteries last me a about 4 hours each with moderate use cutting 5in insulation and 1/4in secure rock, just recently I was able to cut through 1/4in thick metal in no time very powerful piece of machine I’d say it competes with a corded sawzal of any brand or may even beat it, very happy with my purchase I will admit I was excited for this to arrive I’d definitely recommend to others

Bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend. Preforms well, just a tad on the heavy side. The battery itself weighs quite a bit. The Dewalt cordless Jigsaw is next, heaven help my wallet.

I was previously using the 20v version of tool, The upgrade has been well received and would never go back. The extra weight is a slight downfall but can be helpful when cutting in a downward motion and is a small price to pay when given the extra power and speed.

This is my fourth battery powered reciprocating saw (because I wear them out), and it is far and away the best I have owned. Beware of the extra power. If you have a wimpy blade in it and the blade binds up, the saw will keep right on moving and will make an accordion out of the saw blade. I am using it exclusively to cut limbs and trees in the forest on my property and it has been terrific. Given that the battery lasts about 2 hours for full out hard use, I am glad the battery charger completely recharges a dead battery in about half that time.

Works great, lots of power. Battery is pretty good but it chews through tem under heavy load. It is a little heavy with the bigger (9amp Hour from another kit) battery. Only had it for a couple of weeks but so far no complaints.
