I finally decided to upgrade to this Reciprocating Saw when I was removing the roots to a very large tree in my back yard. because of the location between my deck house and driveway and limited space to tug on roots with a vehicle there was no choice but to do by hand. It was really tough went through a few blades but this tool made the difference, and made it possible to get the job done as a DIYer. Glad to have a second flex volt battery in my tool bag too.

The saw has plenty of power and is very comparable to a corded model. The only improvement I can think of is the blade release. It sometimes spits out the blade if not cutting perfectly straight.
