The battery doesn’t last longer but it’s good for quick repairs. It does exist someting that we can use with/without batteries (hybrid) tool?

The tool is awesome! My wife was very disappointed that I received this email prior to Christmas because it was one of my Christmas giftsShe wanted to return it, but I wouldn’t let her.Merry Christmas!

It’s a solid grinder, and I knew what I needed it for so I’m happy with it, but if you want serious torque or are going to need to use for extended periods, go for a corded unit. But for touch-ups, going through a few bolts, spot-sanding or polishing it’s a good buy.

Runs good and smooth. Only con is that the battery drains too fast when used.

This tool is very powerful but eats up batteries like crazy I use a 6 and a 4 Amp In a full days time. Be sure to use the higher amp batteries on this tool.

Flexvolt are a total game changer and with HD deals you better get you hands on them. I first got the flexvolt circular saw and I was really impressed with not only the power but how long does the 9.0ah batteries last, so when I saw this deal I had to get my hands on it. I sold my corded circular saw and sawzall, I have no more corded tools, even the brushless hammer drill you put a flexvolt and nothing can stop you. I just wish the grinder was brushless but it is a good grinder. I had the same grinder so sold it to one of my coworkers and got the new to myself. You got to love HD and their sales.

I went from a cheap Ryobi that was about 10 years old that died. Have lots of Dewalt 20v tools and figured I’d get this as a replacement. SImple job cutting cultured veneer stone with a diamond blade and I went through 6 or more batteries for maybe a 60 square foot job. It struggled to cut through the stone on several occasions. It did not feel like it was 8000 rpms, more like 4000 rpms. Waste of my money.
