This tool is heavy duty. It works smoothly. I strongly recommend paying a few more bucks to get thishigh end tool. It certainly out performs the cheaper models that are on the market.

I use this for body panels 16ga and lighter. The head has three bolts that hold the cutting plates in place. The top bolt sheared off during use. I found that the holes in the cutting plates were not aligned properly which puts excessive stress on the bolt. I enlarged the holes with a carbide die grinder a bit for proper alignment.

ive only used dewalt for the last 15 years or more with cordless tools. the tools are better to best, but its more about the batteries. like printers are about the ink. if you follow what i mean. so concerning performance dont know how they stack-up. they are expensive compared to other leading brands.
