This kit is awesome. Battery is a kid and lasts a long time. Fits flawless in any 20v tool as you can see. The battery can be charged in the older 20v charger or the one with the battery. The new charger can also charge the older 20v batteries. This makes an excellent addition to any Dewalt user. Will become exceptionally useful when using it in the new 60v string trimmer in the spring. Having my old charger in the garage with the new one in the shed is a real time saver and not have to constantly swap out batteries upon completion.

No justice here. Was not expecting the 1st gen flexvolt battery since the pics do not show that batt. Not that it is that bad but already have some and was hoping to see how a new gen would be compared to old gen. Darn faulty pictures.

It works great with all the other DeWalt tools I have. It’s nice that it isn’t a corded tool as I just have a small cabin in the area with out power. So I can run a small generator to easily charge the batteries while I use the saw and other battery powered tools for cabin projects.
