These tools have totally replaced my corded versions. I have had my corded versions for 30+ years and these babies can totally replace them. I use these tools a lot as a DIY homeowner. I built a porch and a couple of stairs with these the first week I had them and they have even more features than my corded Makita’s. The Flexvolt battery lasts forever and both tools have plenty of power. The battery is totally compatable with my other 20V DeWalt tools. I would but these again.
