I’ve had one of these saws for about 2 yrs, seems to be well built, it’s taken the abuse of framing quite well except for one drop of about 15 ft onto concrete, that bent the base plate a bit but amazing still cuts true to the angle gauge, just doesnt cut quite full depth anymore. Still a good saw, and not really a problem, and not something I’d subtract stars for, no saw is meant for that kind of treatment. Th only thing I wish was different was the addition of a rafter hook, and I see the new ones now have that, so if I need another saw I would not hesitate to buy another one!

I’ve used this again and again, with the FLEXVOLT you can toss your old plug in circular saw. There is plenty of power to last through any at home job. Hundreds of cuts and still battery life. So glad I went with the FLEXVOLT version of this saw over the regular 20V Max system.

I love the saw! Having the flex volt batteries is a huge plus as well. My only complaint is the duration of time that it took to arrive at the home depot near me. It took almost 2 weeks to arrive. Fortunately, I wasnt in a huge rush to use it because i had a back up. If I was using my circular saw each day and wanted to take advantage of the online extra battery offer I wouldn’t have been able to wait almost 2 weeks. It is a fantastic circular saw.
