It has enough power to compete with corded worm drives, but in a super portable package. Equipped with a couple of extra batteries, it might just replace your corded model for framing all day long, and it’s a great tool for any job where you need extreme portability or the convenience of not having to roll out a cord.

Its heavy but well balanced. For those days when you have to make just a few cuts at a customers house or all day long if needed. Leave the 100 foot of 10/12 cord at home. The more years you have to pull out a cord and wrap it back up again the more you will appreciate this saw. Not to mention when the power goes out or working on large buildings where power is hard to come buy.

This saw has great features. I love all the details and care put into the saw to make it very simple to use. This saw has power to cut anything I want with ease. I am very happy with this saw.

Perfect, even for a novice. I cut 40 + boards in the woods and it still had plenty of battery life. Including 4×6 stock. Get one if you have the cash. Not an actual worm drive system, but works great if you are right handed.

A truly, amazingly strong saw. If you could only buy one saw, get this saw.

Overall presently surprised with this saw. Has good power through 2x material and plywood. Does bog down a little when making rip cuts if the blade or cut gets a little off center. Battery life seems good. Love not having a cord when making vertical cuts on joist or rafters. Would buy again.

This saw is a real treat to use, and it stops on a dime

It’s just what I needed for work and home projects. Work is faster. Easier for the smaller tasks instead of pulling out extention cord to make just a few cuts. Time safer for sure and money safer for the customers. All in all it is great tool for my tool box.

I am a part time carpenter working 20 to 30 hours a week. This has saved me time and raised my abilities as to how I can approach a job. I am very satisfied. Even though it is a bit front heavy trying to use it one handed, the makes up for dealing with the weight. I have the 20 volt circular saw and it is light and nimble but not as powerful. So with the combo of the two I can tackle any cutting situation. Thank you Dewalt

I’ve been in the construction industry for over 20 years and this is one of the best tools I have ever purchased. Well worth the money!

Excellent with one exception, the safety button. Aside from the fact that its not necessary, it sits to high on the handle. Been framing for 30 years and always thought there would never be a better saw than my Mag77. This is the saw I drag around with me now.

As advertised. Great DeWalt product

I hope DeWalt does something about the thumb lever on the guard. It’s plastic and often breaks off. No worries, it’s covered under warranty
