Pleased overall as I use the saw at work every day, the battery holds a good charge.

I’ve got three different circular saws, and this one is a beast. Put a nice aggressive framing blade, and it cuts through just about anything like butter.

Bought the Saw in early 2019. This is my 3rd DEWALT Cordless Saw in my inventory. The 1st 60V … and there is no comparison to the power and quality in this beast. This is my Go-To saw for framing and and decking … Even with a 6AH battery I can go most times all day. I added the edge rip guide for resaw and am impressed with the power deep in a compound timber lap-cut. I keep it in a TSTAK VI (DWST17806) with squares, pens and accessories and its ready to support any big task. I am SPOILED!

I’ve used several cordless circular saws and this has been the toughest. I use it daily and constantly and it keeps on going. I’ve been tempted to compare to other brands but decided to fit the crew with this one because of its versatility and stability.

Purchased in early 2020 to replace the Porter Cable cordless I had used for almost 10 years. This is a definite upgrade. Cuts into wood better than my electric saw. Unbelievable performance. Thumbs UP!!!

I bought this tool as I found myself quite often not near a power outlet for my regular saw. This worm drive seems to have more power than my corded unit and handles very easily, albeit a little on the heavy side. The only draw back to the kit was the small bag. I am not sure why marketing decided to put a large tool with battery and charger in a small bag. With spare blades, I could not find a way to put everything in the bag and zip it closed. I ended up swapping bags with my Dewalt crown nailer.

From previous reviews this saw has been depended on for livelihoods; that is one of the many reasons I chose it! It is a bit heavy with the large FlexVolt battery, but that is really the only downside….l love the “instant” motor brake, the on-board blade wrench, and the directed air flow to keep the cutting area cleanly visible, it would be “perfect” if DeWalt included a laser sightline! Being right-handed, I preferred a left hand blade to have a better view of the cut line, and being a worm gear drive it has greater torque than a sidewinder model. It has a 3 year warranty and appears to be well-built. This is not a “light duty” saw; if you can manage the weight, it will be a great investment for your cutting needs. The other downside besides weight is the storage bag that is provided in the kit; invest in a hard case that will store the saw, rapid charger, and battery….I did; it’s too costly an investment to get damaged!

We could not believe how fast you got our tool repaired and returned to us. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.

Perfect, even for a novice. I cut 40 + boards in the woods and it still had plenty of battery life. Including 4×6 stock. Get one if you have the cash. Not an actual worm drive system, but works great if you are right handed.
