I have been waiting for months for this and it finally came! Ordered a few 9ah Flexvolt batteries a month ago in anticipation for this saw! Just got my DCS578x2 kit and another for my employee who wanted it as well. We love the saws! The saw, a bag, blade, 2 9ah Flex Volt batteries and a Fast Charger… LOVE! The saw is incredible and works better than anticipated! Cuts like a hot knife through butter and the brake feature stops on a dime! The batteries life cycle is awesome and lasts long. I am a professional carpenter and use this repeatedly all day long. The rafter hook is a great addition as well! Thanks dewalt for such a great product!

I purchased this saw with the intent to be cordless to take to the jobsite. I already have the 20v 6 1/2 saw which I love, but I needed something with more power for other items. Upon purchasing it, I put it to my ultimate test. Cutting stair stringers out of wet treated 2×12.I was shocked how easy this saw handled it. It didn’t even bog down once, which is more than I could say for my corded. The brake performed better than expected as well, great safety feature.Ergonomically, it feels better in my hand than any corded I’ve owned, but of course, that could be my opinion.I’m sold. It’s all I thought it would be and then some.
