This is a great saw. I was really impressed how it performed. I have used it in a shower remodel to cut the slab bigger and remove the wall tile by cutting it into manageable size sheets. I have used it also on an exterior block wall to cut thru from both sides to install a door opening.

Use everyday day for masonry work. Good power and convenient. Nice not having to rip on a gas saw just to start it.

Hands down great buy this is my second one , I am a contractor and I work my tools hard and this is my battery line. Easily has more power than my corded sawzall with way more convenience. Would reccomend any of the 60 volt products.

I’ve used this and the Husqvarna battery saws for the past several weeks. The Dewalt is by far the best of the two. I have 30 years in a a mason and I laughed when I first saw these. I’m not laughing anymore. I love this thing and if the company ever takes it away from me I’ll go buy my own. They have their limits but are the best thing to grab to make block cuts or tooth in a door. The only limitation I see are having enough batteries to keep cutting all day. I hope to see an option to use this with a cord. Maybe an inverter that connects instead of a battery. That would make this the perfect option for almost all situations.

My company has this saw & it is awesome, so much so that I am considering buying one just for my own personal use. I have already converted to much of the Flexvolt system tools & this might be my favorite one to use. Doesnt matter if you are cutting bundles of light gauge or heavy guage studs, hat track, L-metal or z-furring, this saw gets it done over & over. No need to keep a gas can w/ you or to have proper ventilation for clearing fumes from a running engine. I would advise any company needing use of corded chop saws or gas powered hot saws for metal framing to seriously consider this tool!

So far dewalts 60v systems have impressed me. 30+ years in construction and this the first time I’ve seen a cordless system hold its own against an AC operated tool.

Cuts through concrete like butter. Unit is sealed really good. Barely had to turn on the water to keep dust down. No force needed when cutting, you practically let the weight of the tool do the cutting. To keep continously cutting you will need 4 batteries a double charger. Love this tool!

I work in auto extrication sales and we use this saw to help fire and rescue personnel do their job. I cut metal and plastic that cars are made of and this saw has no trouble! Having the dewalt battery platform has really helped us in the fire rescue business! I also work on a fire truck as a firefighter emt and we use this tool along with other flexvolt tools! If they hold up for us at Amkus and at the Fire Dept they will hold up anywhere!

Saw is a little heavy but works great the same power as as a corded If not better

We had the saw for about a month now and the power of the saw is remarkable. Lightweight but strong enough to handle the work. Battery on 9ah seems to be around 30 – 40 mins cut time.
