The DCS7485B 60-Volt Max 8-1/4 in. table saw is maximized for accuracy, capacity and runtime. The brushless motor delivers the power to cut all common materials. A rack and pinion fence allows for fast, easy adjustments and provides the capacity to rip 4×8 sheet goods. Battery and charger are sold separately.

This saw is so smooth and accurate and it is small and light! I have been a professional carpenter since 1987, and I must say this may be the best table saw that I have ever used and it holds a candle to those bigger shop saws considering its size and weight. I was skeptical at first, but I am in love with this cutting creature….the batteries are very powerful, and it just zips / rips through wood like a hungry wood chuck! Hardly any noise! The DCS7485B is a great saw and is even better when paired with a great stand like the DW7440RS (Type 2), but the mounting of the saw on the stand is not directly compatible with each other. I have seen several videos of people modifying the saw or the stand to make them bolt up together, but after paying good money for a saw and stand, i didn’t want to start drilling into it. Instead I decided to mount the saw to a sheet of 3/4″ plywood using square u-bolts with clear tubing over them to get a nice secure clamp, then bolted the plywood to the metal saw mounts that came with the stand. I spent way more time on it than I probably should have, but I think it looks cleaner and is rock solid, there is no wobble. Check out the photos attached.

Quick start and stop and very fast spinning blade. Makes short work of aluminum siding and flashing. Ripped some ply wood no problem. A little slow going through treated 2×6 but that is probably because of the blade not the saw. And no more trip hazard extension cords!

This table saw has surprisingly a lot of power for a battery powered saw. I’ve used it to resaw thick boards and it didn’t even flinch. Very versatile and not overly heavy. Cons: IT ONLY HAS ONE MITER TRACK! I want to build a cross-cut sled but I’m worried about maintaining square. It also doesn’t come with a miter guage so need to buy one. Lastly, and this is mainly my fault, I forgot the battery on the charger for a day and now I get about 15mins worth of power before its dead. Wish I could plug it in and run it too
