Dewalt hit it out of the park with this saw. It is so easy to operate. I got it just before Christmas but didn’t get to use it until three weeks later, but once I did I was very satisfied. I actually took the bar off just to see how simple it is to remove the chain and reassemble it. The anti-kick back works too. I was running the saw and activated it to check the operation and it did not disappoint.One thing I wish Dewalt would consider is to add the possibility of a longer bar. 12″ is nice for smaller trees and limbs, but with the right size battery this saw has the ability to go through larger trees. But otherwise perfect for the weekend wood cutter.

Dewalt specifies a 4.5mm file to sharpen the cutting teeth. I could not find a 4.5mm file anywhere including Dewalt and Home Depot. It is a quality tool but I had to return it. I was sorry to do this as I am an avid Dewalt user.
