Best deal I found on one – though I’m going to doubt you’re going to find the price for a new one that I paid for it.I changed the head to a blade style – it appears most gas style heads will fit it. The battery I used – I am heavily invested in Dewalt Batteries – had enough juice to just finish my yard; then again, it’s the first time I have used a trimmer all year on it (I own a gas powered one, but it is a pain to start every season). My friend heard about the deal and bought one herself.I was considering buying one before I found this one for half the price… even at the pre-sale price, I would have bought one, now that I’ve used it.

Very powerful, it is a massive improvement over my cheaper B&D trimmer.

Works great I love my 20 volt Dewalt tools I use the brushless drill on my ice auger and I drilled over 60 holes in 6 inches of ice before having to change the 4 ah battery. I used the 5 ah battery on the string trimmer and was done trimming before the battery went low. I had hacked out a 20 by 40 area of ground ivy with it. brushless is the only way to go.

The trimmer works great. Plenty strong to get the job done. It will not replace my gas trimmer for heavy jobs, but for just trimming around the house and general maintenance, it works great. Battery life seems to be good as well.

Would love to try out the 60 volt one to see power difference.

Very pleased with this purchase. I have a medium sized yard with a lot of plants and trees, that I have to be careful of when mowing and trimming. This trimmer is perfect for my yard. Powerful enough to edge and rips through tall grass and weeds easily, Only issue is, if you have the smaller size Dewalt rechargeable batteries, they run out after 25 – 30 mins. Good to have a few extra batteries. Still, all in all, I found this yard trimmer to be an excellent tool.

I’ve never used a weed eater before. After fighting with the pull chain type, I went with this one! It is very light and easy to use. As for the battery life, I have a 1/3 acre and use 2-3 batteries to trim around house, sidewalk, driveway and fence line. I would highly recommend.

Seems once you commit to an electric battery powered system you are pretty well stuck. Bought this string trimmer because I already had some 20v DeWalt power tools with the battery systems. Seems pretty effective and I get a fair amount done with 1 5-amp battery.Got the small electric chain saw to match. These are well-rated systems and I have no reason to doubt the testing.

Works good and don’t smell like gas when I’m done and arms don’t feel like they got vibrated to death.

The cordless trimmer meets DeWalt high standards. I have used it several times and so far I am pleased with it — no gas smell or starting problems. The only problem with it is the bump trimmer line head. It is very hard to load and does not always feed both lines when you bump it on the ground. When one line does not come out it jams up the spool removal and getting it out is a chore. All things considered, I have had it for a month and I am pleased with it.

This product works well with a 6mah battery. String goes fast compared to gas trimmers I have used.

Has plenty of power, but the string holder or dispenser alway breaks the string of. And pure nightmare to get re spooled. Easy of use is good other than the string thing. Lightweight And good power

Good product and much easier to use than the gas powered trimmer. 4 stars since I had to replace the trimmer head with Husqvarna

I think its a little cheap and the trimmer string is constantly getting messed up and I have to rewind it.
