Seems once you commit to an electric battery powered system you are pretty well stuck. Bought this string trimmer because I already had some 20v DeWalt power tools with the battery systems. Seems pretty effective and I get a fair amount done with 1 5-amp battery.Got the small electric chain saw to match. These are well-rated systems and I have no reason to doubt the testing.

Very pleased with this purchase. I have a medium sized yard with a lot of plants and trees, that I have to be careful of when mowing and trimming. This trimmer is perfect for my yard. Powerful enough to edge and rips through tall grass and weeds easily, Only issue is, if you have the smaller size Dewalt rechargeable batteries, they run out after 25 – 30 mins. Good to have a few extra batteries. Still, all in all, I found this yard trimmer to be an excellent tool.

Bought to use once a week in my yard and its great. Replaced a late 90’s model so HUGE upgrade. Battery seems to last long and it gives enough power for the “thick stuff”. Only thing I need to upgrade is the line thickness. Seems to break off frequently.

This tool is excellent very easy to assemble lightweight and unbelievably powerful. The battery use is extraordinary i charged my 20volt 5AH lithium batteries thinking i would need more than 1 boy was i wrong. I was able to cut my whole yard and still had two bars left. Pretty impressive could only imagine just how much more powerful the brushless trimmer could be. I couldn’t be more happier with this purchase beats having to do maintenance on a 2 stroke engine. Its also extremely quiet as well

Great replacement for my worn out 20v Black and Decker string trimmer. Was easy to assemble and has a lot of power with long lasting 4 amp hour 20v max battery. I also found it to be an equally effective edger as well as trimmer. Also ordered more string and the newer easier to load string case. So far the battery has outlasted me when trimming around my acre of grass with lots of landscaping beds and ditch trimming of 1/2 acre in front of farm ground.
