I bought my first one back in April 2020. First impression was mind blowing. This trimmer can power through large areas and tall/thick weeds and grass! Though after using this trimmer for long periods of time every day it starts having problems. This is a perfect trimmer for edging, clearing overgrowth, or as a quick non gas alternative. I have had issues with my first 2 but I may buy a 3rd in the future.

First of all I do love my trimmer, BUT what does need improvement is the guard, it’s simply not big enough, I have to wear a total face guard to operate and stuff flys and has cut me several times, I bought something similar to what you wear cutting wood. You also have to wear pants and gloves are suggested. 2nd flaw is the line is very hard to wind, I wish it had

The weed eater was really easy to assemble. Lots of power. Perfer the bump feed for the trimmer line(which this dose have) compared to the line feed that feeds line everytime you release the trigger. I dislike that feed system, you end up wasting alot of your trimmer line. Over all extremely happy with the entire DeWalt 60 Volt line of tools.

I Love the 60 volt flex system. We have all Dewalt 20 volt at work and they’re great devices. Since buying this I now own 3 Flex system devices personally. They’re beasts !!! I will caution people the new flex devices are not interchangeable with your older devices battery.

Easy to use , right out of the box. It’s lite and ergonomically designed for comfortable operation. Low speed offers plenty of torque and speed for normal trimming. High speed offers even more torque and speed for serious bush whacking! Battery run time on low speed is approximately 30-35 minutes. I highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a new trimmer. Another fine product from DeWalt!

Bought this weedeater at start of the season, I’ve used it every weekend for the last 2 months. It doesn’t fly through batteries like I was expecting and some other battery weedeaters I’ve tried. Battery change is as easy as any of their other tools, fit’s perfectly in my hands but do wish it was adjustable length. Haven’t had any problems with it so far and works great, all the power you’d need to trim is here.

Very strong trimmer. Overall very good. Good battery run time, however i am very disappointed in how the battery attaches to the trimmer. Every time i need to charge battery, i literary HAVE TO BEAT IT OUT! I HAVING TO TAKE A HAMMER AND USING THE WOOD HANDLE TO TAP BATTERY OFF EVERY TIME I NEED TO CHARGE. T DOES NOT WANT TO RELEASE FROM TRIMMER. Home depot will not exchange cause i missplaced my receipt. I own about 12 different dewalt tools but this one dissapointed me.

I purchased my 1st DeWalt 60 volt tool about a year ago which was the String Trimmer at a charity silent auction . This is the best trimmer I have ever had. I have a couple of gas trimmers that I have not used since I purchased this trimmer. Super easy to change trimmer string, easily dispenses this string with just a light tap, battery life is the best. The great thing is that you can use these 60 volt batteries with your 20 volt tools and they last forever.

The product itself is great. Rips through just about anything that gets in it’s way (in terms of grass, weeds, and other organic matter). It’s a top-notch trimmer. You may want to consider getting two batteries for it, however…IF you have a lot of trimming work to do. I get just over an hour of use with one battery–using it in some pretty heavy grass and weeds.I highly recommend this trimmer.
