I own both the 20V and 60V trimmers. Both perform as well or better as any gas engine trimmer of similar size. The 60V easily trims heavy tall grass! I was very impressed! I keep two chargers and 3 batteries, so I never have any down time when using them. Proud owner of eleven different DeWalt battery tools and love them all!!

Replacing the gas powered trimmer I had for years was easy after using one of these at a friends house. I have a large property and can get it all done with the 5ah battery. Easy operation for younger family members makes this a great yard tool. the only CON would be the supplied amount of trimmer string that came preloaded in the trimmer ran out pretty fast. Other than that I have been really happy with it.
