This is better than my 40 volt weed eater and nearly as good as my gas weed eater when it comes to trimming etc. It is better than my gas weed eater from the standpoint that it always starts and it is a little lighter. The battery lasts longer than I can. My only issue is putting on new trimmer line which is a pain. There has to be an easier way.I like this trimmer so much that I gave my gas one away.

Easy to use , right out of the box. It’s lite and ergonomically designed for comfortable operation. Low speed offers plenty of torque and speed for normal trimming. High speed offers even more torque and speed for serious bush whacking! Battery run time on low speed is approximately 30-35 minutes. I highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a new trimmer. Another fine product from DeWalt!
