Have owned the string trimmer for a couple of weeks now and not that impressed with it. Throws a lot of grass all over your pants and shoes. Shroud needs to be bigger and taller

I Bought This 3 months ago, Works great. Some said the Screen on Monroe Stopped up so I cut the toe from a sock and put over top of motor to catch the Grass. Just clean it periodically.

I’ve been using this for a whole year. Durable, doesn’t waste string, doesn’t bind up, easy to restring, doesnt drain the battery.

The main thing i was blown away by was the amount of power this string trimmer has compared to other models i have used in the past i would swear that i would never buy anything cordless or corded again ONLY GAS i said but im glad i gave it another shot before throwing in the towel because i am a very happy customer

So much power! I had the 20v trimmer before this and this thing blows it away! The extra string length on the Flexvolt is really nice to have, but the power! The lower handle is adjustable and needed slight tweaking for a better fit to me, but worked well enough in the original position.

I purchased this to go along with all the other Dewalt tools and this does the job really well. The one gripe that I have with it is that the guard that comes with it is quite thin. Perhaps it is user error and I need to do a better job of angling the trimmer, but having at least double the width would be nice (I think there is an add-on but still…) I found that the battery lasts enough for me. I do like the bump feed to increase the line.

I am blown away by the performance of this product. I purchased it a few days ago and put it to work after charging the battery. I bought this trimmer to tackle the light trimming in the yard so that I didn’t have to bust out my Stihl FS91 for the smaller jobs. I was thoroughly impressed with what this trimmer could handle. I tested it out on some thicker grass and brush and it cut through anything I put in it’s way, including sticker bushes. The bump feed worked flawlessly and the string provided with the unit was tough. I used the trimmer for 2 hours, mostly in low mode and didn’t kill the battery. Love this trimmer and would certainly recommend to anyone.

This is not the tool to buy IF you have more than 10 minutes of trimming. Convenient to have, battery, balance, line….but not a workhorse that you would expect from Dewalt. Already looking for a new spool cap after one season . Buying this part is a hassle too.

Works as expected. Perfect for patio and garage. Wife loves it. I use a 5ah battery and that’s plenty.

I’ve owned my DEWALT trimmer for a couple years now and I have never had a problem! I love how light it is! It does a great job! I trim all over my farm with this and by the time my battery needs charged I’m needing a break anyway. I have a back up battery because my blower uses the same kind, so I always have one on charger and one in use. However, I am ready for a break by the time I need a new battery. I have told all my girlfriends about this because it is so much lighter and easier to use than any other trimmer I have had. It’s quieter also. I seriously love this product and if mine ever broke, I would go get another one! I love not having to mess with gas/oil and wondering if my trimmer is going to start! This has been a lifesaver for me! So easy to use and with just as much power as a gas trimmer! I love it!!

this trimmer is bad to the bone. i have 3 acres fenced in one full charged battery does the whole job. it is the best investment i have ever made in a trimmer. i will never own a gas trimmer again.

Have had the absolute privilege of picking one up at the beginning of the season. Golly! This trimmer is the cat’s pajamas! I mean guhbye dandelions. I really enjoy its convenient grip, and bump that bad boy across the sidewalk to quickly Spiderman out some more trimming line. POW! ZING! I totally recommend this thing.

So I just bought this a about a month to replace my RedMax gas trimmer that I have had for over 20 years. I was originally going to get a RedMax again just because of proving reliability and quality. I after some debate I thought I would give it a try.I am glad I did, my yard is a little under a half an acre and I felt it performed great. I was worried a little about the spot on the shaft that is hinged but no issues there. I love that it’s not constantly on like a gas motor. My only complaint I guess is the thin line it comes with. Once it runs out i will be going to the thicker line and we will see how that does. But overall as of right now with using it 3x I would definitely recommend it.

I’ve owned it for 8 months and excepting the need to purchase a guard I liked it. Now I’ve just come in from cutting a small area of late season wild grasses and weeds. Both are still green and the tougher stems and bits of grass get into the small gap at t he bottom of the spool cover, wrap around and pack the space. When that happens the line will no longer feed. You have to stop and tediously clear the jam or work with very short strings. THIS IS A MAJOR FLAW! STOPPING EVERY FEW MINUTES TO CLEAR THE JAMS OFFSETS THE SPEED AND POWER OF THE TRIMMER. I had an old inexpensive B&D trimmer with a better designed head. A lot less powerful but not so prone to jams. I NO LONGER RECOMMEND THIS TRIMMER. DW YOU’VE LET THE SIDE DOWN.

I purchased this two months ago, and as a replacement for a gas powered trimmer, it works incredibly. There is no lack of power, it is actually too strong for the string that comes on it! I recommend changing the black/yellow line with a .095 commercial grade line! It has just as much If not more power as any gas trimmer ive ever used, without the vibration and numbness from user fatigue. This is one of my favorite DeWalt tools.

Amazing power, I would put this 60 volt up against any gas powered trimmer any day!

Great trimmer, definitely one of the best trimmers I have had. Great power and long lasting battery. No need of dealing with gasoline or power cords. Just as good or better than some gasoline trimmers and way better than electrical.

I use this to trim pretty heavy weeds and saplings in NC. It cuts through them like a hot knife through butter. The battery lasts for about an hour on full and close to two when I spin the line slower…which still takes care of your basic weeds.Only issue is on me…when I hit the occasional straw and I’m moving the unit too quickly, the straw breaks off and gets trapped in the undercarriage of the spinning base preventing the line from auto-feeding, but a pointed screwdriver quickly pushes out the straw shaft and it pulls out quite easily.
