Great weed eater cuts everything, power is great !!! I have 10 acres and it takes me about a hour and a half and it takes two battery’s I don’t run it on high all the time just when in thick grass. I won’t buy any more gas ones.

Great weed eater, just needs to come with the larger line. Ran it for about thirty minutes and only lost one bar of charge on the battery. Does a very good job, even on some of the heavier weeds. It is so nice to just put the battery in and go, no mixing of gas and oil. No worrying about it starting because the gas has sat in it to long.Thank you Dewalt.

This is only a string trimmer and has no options for turning into a brush trimmer. Although the run time and power are good from the 60v battery, the battery is hard to put in and take out. It is a horrible design that almost requires a hammer to remove. Every time I beat on the battery to get it out, it falls on the ground and I wait for it to be broken. And, do not buy the DeWalt trimmer line. It often breaks off in the head. Which reminds me, grass will get wound around the shaft above the head preventing it from discharging more line when you “bump” it.

Swapped head with a bush wacker and with invasive bamboo here in NY it cuts through better than most gas powered units. So far no issues amd of course backed by the usual dewalt warranty it’s not much of a worry.

This is as strong as any 4 stroke gas trimmer I’ve used before. Cutting through extremely dense brush is no problem at all. The tool itself with the battery on it is nicely balanced. The big 60v battery gives a pretty good run time, and if you’re just weed eating around your home, a single charge will do the trick. Most greenery can be knocked down in low gear… If you have HUGE amounts of brush to cut down, either plan on having to charge the battery, or if you can afford it(i wish i could) buy an extra battery. This is not the 20v or the 40v, so don’t mind those reviews. Once you buy this, you only have to add string. No more gas, oil, gaskets, plugs, mixing fuel etc. 100% worth your money.

Love this Trimmer. I keep it in my truck so i have it at any site i am working on. 9Ah Battery last about 35-45 min at constant use for me and I keep a 6Ah as well charged up for backup. Weight and balance is great. It does make a bit of a mess since it does not have a very large shield so goggles, hat and face covering highly recommended when using.

I’ve been using this product for a few months and have been really happy with it. It has great power and it hasn’t made me regret my decision from getting away from gas powered options. Best of all, it runs very smoothly. Battery life is good (lasts me about 30 mins) but you may want to invest in extra batteries. I was already on the Dewalt platform so having extra batteries came in handy.
