The DEWALT 60-Volt MAX String Trimmer is designed to power through tough overgrowth and withstand everyday heavy-duty usage. It features a high-efficiency brushless motor that maximizes runtime and motor life and its lightweight and ergonomic design maximizes control and minimizes stress on your arms. It has a 60-Volt MAX FLEXVOLT battery that powers 60-Volt MAX tools or it can be backwards compatible to work with 20-Volt MAX tools. The DEWALT DCB606 FLEXVOLT Battery-pack changes voltage when you change tools. It Powers a new line of 60-Volt Max Brushless tools and 120-Volt Max Brushless tools. This-pack is also backwards compatible with 20-Volt Max tools and chargers.

Swapped head with a bush wacker and with invasive bamboo here in NY it cuts through better than most gas powered units. So far no issues amd of course backed by the usual dewalt warranty it’s not much of a worry.

I charged my battery then the next day, dropped the battery in and started trimming. 50 minutes later, I was finished and still had 2 bars left on the battery. The following weekend, I dropped my battery in and started trimming. No fuss with gas and mixing oil. No fuss with trying to start the trimmer, just dropped in the battery and off I went. I felt better after trimming for 50 minutes with this trimmer than with my old HV. This trimmer is quieter and weighs less. I am very happy with my purchase.
