The DEWALT 60-Volt MAX String Trimmer is designed to power through tough overgrowth and withstand everyday heavy-duty usage. It features a high-efficiency brushless motor that maximizes runtime and motor life and its lightweight and ergonomic design maximizes control and minimizes stress on your arms. It has a 60-Volt MAX FLEXVOLT battery that powers 60-Volt MAX tools or it can be backwards compatible to work with 20-Volt MAX tools. The DEWALT 60-Volt MAX Handheld Blower DCBL770B powers through debris at 129 MPH. It features a variable speed trigger and speed lock for total power control, and its lightweight and ergonomic design maximizes control and minimizes stress on your arms. Swapped head with a bush wacker and with invasive bamboo here in NY it cuts through better than most gas powered units. So far no issues amd of course backed by the usual dewalt warranty it’s not much of a worry.

We had a different dewalt battery powered blower that had more power and the battery lasted longer so that is why I only gave this one a good rating. Still a good blower for blowing out your garage, front door area and your car (I have 3 three very active kids). The amount of grass and dirt in my car is amazing. So before I vacuum my car I will blow it out.

To take the battery out you need to lose up each star but. Once you turn it 3 times lose. It’s a lot better to take the battery out

I have used this once to trim my yard. I will never go back to a gas trimmer. The speed control and lack of noise is incredible. It is so much easier to get a precision cut with just the right speed in tight places. I am hoping, the battery, with a full charge, will allow me to cut the whole job before needing a recharge. Of course, I couldn’t wait for the battery to fully charge before I had to try it out.

Have a gas trimmer with the short trimmer lines inserted into head but got sick of very short life of the line; had to start, stop, start, stop, always putting in new line, also just tangled up in long weeds. Hard to find help nowadays in store, so just took a chance and picked this dewalt trimmer. VERY HAPPY with my choice, powerful unit, cuts plant material with ease, battery long lasting, I especially like the dewalt black and yellow line that comes preloaded; much more durable than other lines I have used, I am only going to buy dewalt line from now on.

The first one I bought had an electrical issue in first month and the string did not feed well out of spool so I took it back. The second one I bought did not feed the string out well from the spool head very well either without banging it on the ground really hard… even then it only fed 60% of the time. I had to hit it so many times and harder that the aluminum shaft bent some. So I replaced the dewalt head with an echo head and now it works fantastic. You will probably void your warranty but I recommend changing the faulty dewalt head to an echo head. Its easy… just lock the shaft at the hole above the spool head and turn clockwise (reverse thread) to take it off. Then install the echo. Remember to take your pin (nail in my case) from the shaft lock after you are done. Works great now and I care for 5+ acres. I was disappointed that they send a standard charger with it. I recommend getting another 9ah battery and a 6ah charger to speed up charging.

This is a good product. I like the way I clear grass and weeds. I had a little trouble reloading the line. There are several good videos on YouTube. This product uses both .080 line and .095 line.
