The DEWALT 20-Volt MAX Wet/Dry Vacuum (DCV517B) is ideal for use with either dry or wet materials. Its efficient HEPA filter traps 99.97% of dust and is great for general cleanup on your job site or around the house. This vacuum is part of the versatile 20-Volt Max system and is sold on its own, so you can add it to your collection and use with your existing DEWALT battery and charger.
- HEPA wet/dry filter traps 99.97% of dust at 0.3 microns
- Dual cleanup modes allow for debris removal with either the front utility nozzle or extendable rubber hose
- 1/2 Gal. tank with heavy-duty latch is easy to empty and clean

I purchased this to clean up little fragments( e.g food) that the kids drop in the couch, car, car seat, etc. The vaccum is very LOUD and the suction is NOT the best. The hose Ed part is a great idea to get between small seems, but the suction doesnt not work that well. The vaccum is nice size and light weight.

I have the 18 volt model of this.. 2 things I wish they would change, 1) the attached nozzle needs to be removable so you can use it more effectively and 2) the tank needs to be larger..maybe 3 1/2 quart capacity

So far so good! This will easily suck up debris like cat litter or heavier whereas my little B&D handheld this replace had a very hard time. Clean up is easy as well. Have not tried it for WET application yet. I’m sure it will be fine.

The tools exceeded my expectations. I was very pleased with the quality and performance of the tools. I was also amazed at how quiet the drill is compared to my old one. The lights on the drills is a plus. The vacuum is very handy. I do not have to pull out the shop vac and plug it in.
