Battery is awesome. Keeps me going on the job with my skill saw. Longer time more cuts more production in the day. Dewalt is an awesome product.

Purchased this because it has a replaceable rechargeable battery that allows quick exchange with a charged battery pack to continue working. Good suction power and easily handled

That’s how I learned about this unit. I saw my furnace repair guy using one and it worked very efficiently in a tight space. Just what I needed.

So far so good! This will easily suck up debris like cat litter or heavier whereas my little B&D handheld this replace had a very hard time. Clean up is easy as well. Have not tried it for WET application yet. I’m sure it will be fine.

Think “DeWalt Dustbuster”I have probably close to 20 DeWalt 20V tools (and some 12V) that I’ve added to my shop over the years and have been very pleased.I’ve been eyeing one of the cordless vacs for awhile as I thought it would be convenient for little cleanups when doing projects around the house, so when I saw one of these at HD on sale for $90 I snagged one to try out.Noise:First thing of note is how loud it is. For being so compact it rivals my larger vacs I have in the shop.Suction:Honestly, really lackluster unfortunately. It can pick up really lightweight stuff easily, but I recently replaced a ceiling fan and some outlets in a kids room and it had a really difficult time picking up anything (small bits of drywall, wire sleeves, etc) from the carpet without some encouragement. At the top I referred to it as more of a “DeWalt Dustbuster” because that is about how much power you get from it, but just A LOT bigger.Picking up small things from smooth surfaces seemed to work better, but don’t expect anything even remotely medium duty. Also tried it for a wet vac application when I was suctioning some water out of a small hole in the yard where I had a sprinkler head leaking. As you can imagine the 0.5 gallon fills up fast which makes its use for a wet clean up really limiting.Parts:The vac comes with an odd sized (compact), proprietary DeWalt filter that to replace is anywhere from $25-30. Would have liked something a bit more standard so in a year or two they won’t be impossible to find.Recommended with caveats: For really, really light duty work I think this vac does alright. But for even the smaller honey do type project around the house it doesn’t really cut it for clean up.

I purchased this to clean up little fragments( e.g food) that the kids drop in the couch, car, car seat, etc. The vaccum is very LOUD and the suction is NOT the best. The hose Ed part is a great idea to get between small seems, but the suction doesnt not work that well. The vaccum is nice size and light weight.
