Purchase one to clean up after installs. Run time depends on your battery size. If Im cleaning up drywall dust, yes i have to tap out the filter, but its small and more durable than a dustbuster.

Great little vacuum. We use this almost every day on our dark gray kitchen/hall floor, which shows every speck of dust. It’s handier than pulling out the Swiffer when you only want to pick up a few crumbs, and it’s much better than the cheap dustbuster-type vacuums. It’s also great on stairs. The amount of suction is perfectly adequate for our purposes, but it can’t replace a larger shop vac for big jobs. We have other DeWALT tools that use this same battery, so we always have a few batteries ready for use. We recommend this vacuum, and would buy it again.

Dewalt, being the best name on the market, always comes thru. All of their power tools are the toughest and sturdiest, the batteries are no different. They are pricey, but the last. I definitely would give them a 10 rating, for excellence.

Very nice vacuum however this unit should come with its accessories. We ordered a corner crevice tool from DeWalt and was charged $20 shipping for an item that weighed no more than a pencil.
