Does it have attachments? Like a hose. Iit was not easy to maneuver around the floor boards of my car.

I used to carry a corded “toolbox”-style vacuum for my installation projects in offices, lobbies, and museums. Sometimes, an outlet was just impossible to find. I bought this to ease that issue and have a machine to handle the majority of my small needs. This does just that. The suction is good for dust and sawdust but could use a bit more oomph for pulling debris out of carpets. It would be a nice feature if there was a soft bumper around the fixed nozzle.I would like to have had the rubber hose nozzle fit snug to the dust port of the 20v sliding compound saw. Just a minor design miss there…

I use this for quick vacuuming of my car, my entry way and dog hair. I was concerned about suction power, but for a small portable battery powered vacuum its pretty good. The hose fits my 1.25 inch car cleaning attachments and since I don’t have a garage, its much easier that running an extension cord and bringing out the big vacuum.

Great for cleaning up the drywall dust after I cut in old work boxes. Quick, super portable, uses the same batteries as my other tools.

I love this vacuum save one annoying issue I have with it. The exhaust vents on the sides of the vacuum have a tendency to blow around the stuff I’m trying to vacuum up. A better design would be to direct the exhaust air towards the rear of the vacuum body. One easy way to accomplish this would be with baffles or vanes or hoods that would direct the air away from the dirt you are trying to pick up.

I use this for daily cleaning of small wall-mounted goat feed cups. It’s very convenient and useful as a dry vac. However, when used as a wet vac even for a few ounces of dirty water, the filter very quickly becomes saturated and clogged. Air drying the filter was ineffective, so I spent an hour with a shop vac/blower plus a small pick to clean and dry the filter. I’ll probably order a couple of spare filters so I can always have a clean, dry one available, but I’m going to avoid using it as a wet vac, which is a shame.

This is a great, small form factor vacuum that is battery operated using the reliable Dewalt batteries. Great suction and easy to clean. Rugged and reliable. Disadvantages: I’m not a fan of the location of the black plastic clip or hasp on the back of the unit that is used to release the collection reservoir. Whenever I goto pickup the vacuum, my hand will inevitably grab the handle and mistakenly pop open the latch, in turn, leaving the dust bin about to fall off the vacuum and onto the floor dumping the contents. Suggestion: add a second latch (or split the existing wide one into two instead) that faces the opposite direction for a tighter fit and less likelihood of erroneously opening up when you least expect it. Suggestion: many times that I’m doing small projects with a portable table saw or compound chop miter saw, I wish I could more easily attach this battery vacuum to the back of the saw to catch the dust. Obviously it’s no replacement for a more professional and permanent dust collection system such as those found in a wood working shop, but for day long cutting on a jobsite, the ability to hookup a small vacuum like this would be beneficial. Of course, the miter saw could really use an enhancement too (and this would be easy !), add another female electrical outlet (single) to the back of the tool (chop saw, miter box, table saw, etc) that is switch / trigger enabled. Thus, whenever the saw is running, the extra accessory outlet would become energized. Then, we could plug in a small vacuum to the saw and whenever the saw runs the vacuum would turn on too. Course the battery unit doesn’t have a true wired power cord, but you could also add a small control wire (such as an RJ45Patch cord) that is power-sensing between the two tools (saw and vacuum). Then, even with a battery operated vacuum, it could be auto-triggered to the ON position if the control wire senses voltage flowing from the saw itself. OR add an integrated low power Bluetooth sender device into each saw. Then the vacuums could have a Bluetooth receiving unit that can be paired with compatible Dewalt saws and other devices. Once the user pairs the two devices together in their “MyDewalt” app, when one unit turns ON another unit (ie: vacuum) can be told to power ON as well. And the advantage to using a smart App is that the system could be configured to always have a Delay Off feature to tell the vacuum to keep running for 30sec or 1min etc even after the saw itself is done running. Perfect little tool. I wanted it for quick pick ups and vacuuming the steps. Works great, good suction and it has a large debris holder that is easy to clean.

This is a nice portable vac for using when doing work in finished spaces or other small work. It’s also decent for sucking strings in conduit runs under 200 feet! For obvious reasons, it isn’t good for picking up water or a ton of debris. If you have dewalt 20v tools and need a super portable vac it will likely get the job done.

Purchased to match Voltage and manufacturer of other battery powered tools. Good vacuum, would like a brush attachment for use on automobile interrior.
