This DEWALT machine has the power and capacity to suction 2 Gal. of liquid through the attached heavy-duty 5 ft. hose with the option to attach a crevice tool or wide-nozzle tool (included). This unit comes with a filter that can be rinsed and reused.

Great portable shop vac. I use it to vacuum my cars and clean up where my normal shop vac is limited by my extension cord limit. It works great for cleaning up little Dust particles etc, but not really strong enough for wood screws and the like.

Very handy for cleaning ceiling fans. It is also great for cleaning baseboards, just attach an extension arm and round brush from any upright vac and you can do all of your baseboards in no-time, no plugging and un-plugging from room to room, no getting on your hands and knees and no bending over. It is a back saver!I like that fact that you can use either 18 or 20 volt batteries.Very handy around the house!

This vac has decent suction for a battery vac. It is convenient to have handy in the truck to clean up after small service jobs. I have a 6Ah 20v Max battery that will not work in this vac for some reason. The battery works fine in other tools. 5Ah batteries work fine in this vac. So not sure what’s going on there. It also doesn’t have on-board storage for a brush attachment which is the attachment that I use most.

I recommend this model. I bought it to replace a similar DeWalt 18v model after many years of use. The 18v vacuum stills works fine but it was the 18v batteries that are dying (after 6-9 years of use). This model is so much better primarily due to the ability to use the higher capacity (ampere-hour) 20v batteries.
