Go battery powered or outlet powered with the DEWALT DCV581H Wet-Dry Vacuum. It uses an 18-Volt or 20-Volt Max battery (not included) – or you can plug it in to an AC outlet. This Wet-Dry Vacuum features a HEPA rated wet/dry filter that traps dust with 99.97% efficiency at 1 micron. Backed by a DEWALT three year limited warranty for added peace of mind.

It’s ok but trying to vacuum up water with that small hose apparatus was very difficult. It’s handy to have a tool to use in a water emergency but you’d need a lot of patience to get results with this Dewalt wet/dry vacuum.

Will not replace a shop vac for bigger jobs but works great for cleaning up immediate work areas especially drawers and cabinets after installation. Easy to keep close at hand, I especially like being able to use 110v as well as my 18v & 20v batteries and its portability. It also works well for vacuuming out your truck.

It doe not have a lot of power but it makes up in size. Also I like that I can use both power and battery pack to power the vac, my main use is to vacuum my cars up and to clean up my work mess after a small project. Will not replace my shop vac, but it cool to take when you Have quick job and you don’t want to carry a giant shop vac for small work projects.

I have had this item for a while. We use it for small jobs and sucking up insects. It has never worked plugged in. It only works in battery mode. Anyone else have this issue

I have used it a couple of times on different jobs. First time with a 6 amp battery and it did not have good suction. The second time was with the cord and same thing. For the money its not worth it. I will be returning this.

I needed a portable vac. This works fine. Very convenient that it works with my existing DeWalt batteries and also has a 110v plug. No bag change is also a +. Not as powerful as my large shopvac but that’s not expected in a portable vac. I recommend if you need a light duty portable vac.

I have had this vacuum for over a year and love it. I used one at work and loved how much power it hand for a battery powered vacuum so I bought one for home. I love that it’s lightweight, makes it easy to use it for my stairs and around the house, especially in my shop. I also use it to clean out my car. I like that it’s corded also in case my battery is charging or in one of my other tools. I love this vacuum.
