This is the best tool I’ve ever used ! Very smooth & quick sanding. Battery life is very good & brushless motor is very quiet.

I have always been a ryobi person but thought I’d finally try Dewalt and I was quickly blown away by how great this little sander is. Guess it’s time to make the switch with all the tools

Very compact and handy. Great for jobs of all sizes. Very nice for fast in-n-out jobs. I bought the 20V router to go along with this sander. It’s a must have as well. Keep the newproducts coming Dewalt. One suggestion, If you make another 20V small miter saw, make it dual bevel. I don’t think it would knock up the price enuff to not be worth the investment. Thanks………..kw

Great value with charger, battery, bag w/tool…sander is light, easy to handle. Highly recommend.

Good tool, no assembly required!

Sander is good but the 2 AH battery will leave you wanting more. Only lasts 15 minutes or less on a full charge. Unfortunately Dewalt batteries are very expensive. A 5 AH battery only will cost more than the sander/battery combo. Will be using this sander in limited fashion until I can catch larger batteries on sale.

Cordless is the answer. Much less hassle without the cable management.

I got this to work on my truck during my lunch break at work. Works great. Absolutely no problems with it.

To the 1 star reviewer “beaverfood”, the DWV9000 universal adapter fits 1 1/4″ vacuum hose, NOT the shroud on the end of the hose, the actual hose itself. That is why the inside is threaded, to screw onto your vacuum hose. Also, why give the sander a negative review because of that? Not knowing how to use a tool is a poor reason for a negative review.

Sander works fine but it goes through batteries like water. I had three fully charged batteries when I started a sanding job, went through all three and none had changed back enough to continue my sanding project. DeWalt needs to put a 5.0 ah battery on the sander. If I had it to do over again I would buy a corded sander. Very disappointed. Would have put a 1 but it does do a good job when battery is fully charged. Maybe ok for smaller sanding projects.
