Cannot be stored in the vertical position. Purchase the Rigid universal miter saw stand. You will save $100 and can be stored in the vertical position

Great stand. Came together well, just be careful not to cross-thread the bolts as they go into the die threads. Heavy, but it needs to be. Highly recommended!

So the saw is great, cuts well. Batteries last a long time. Have used it numerous projects from rough framing, decks and trim. The saw is very heavy and hard to move around once the base for stand is attached.This is rated 3 because the dust control is your lungs. There is no dust control. The bag is a joke to make you think that it’s doing something but look up and it will be cloudy inside… or try to take a deep breathe it won’t be good. Even attaching a shopvac to the dust collector doesn’t help because no saw dust gets into the tube anyways.Again the convenience is great not having to run generators but just be warned the dust is crazy

I really wanted to like the rolling miter saw stand, but there is one big drawback. When you insert the material support pipes in, they lock together and it makes it difficult to store or stand up. The solution would be to remove the support pipes, but once they lock together, there is no way to remove them. I tried mightily to get them back out, but they seem to be stuck forever.

This saw stand is paired up with my Dewalt DW780 and it works perfectly, I would suggest putting some lubricant like mystery oil along track for effortless gliding. Looks great works even better would highly reccomend.

The product works well and make the miter saw more accessible and moveable. I have to move the saw outside a lot (until the new workshop is built), so this stand is great for that. Instructions are little iffy, but if you look at the pictures and go slow, you can figure it out.
