Eliminate the guesswork with this new Center Sensor Stud Finder that has a detection depth of 3/4 in. for wood and metal. While traditional stud sensors locate the edge of the stud, this 1 locates the center for a more efficient read, even when held at an angle. The sensor is constantly calibrating to save time during use. Once the stud is located, an audible alert and directional LED arrows clearly notify the user. You can easily mark the center of the stud with the center marking channel.

It’s a very good product. After watching a DIY video the guy recommended the one that has the hole in the middle that shows you where exactly the center of the stud was. But this worked well- it found the side of the stud, and very accurately, and it was cheaper.

Very confusing, hard to use. Need to be able to disable electrical detection if not needed. Sometimes detected wood stud wrong. Bottom of device very rough. Need something smoother when draging back/forward and up/down…it has somekind of resistant prevent it from moving freely
