Eliminate the guesswork with this new Center Sensor Stud Finder that has a detection depth of 3/4 in. for wood and metal. While traditional stud sensors locate the edge of the stud, this 1 locates the center for a more efficient read, even when held at an angle. The sensor is constantly calibrating to save time during use. Once the stud is located, an audible alert and directional LED arrows clearly notify the user. You can easily mark the center of the stud with the center marking channel.

It Certainly isn’t your typical stud finder, so it takes some practice, but once you know what your doing and not trying to use it like a typical stud finder that searches for the edge of a stud not the center as this one does, then you should have no problems it’s worked for me.
