You can easily mark the center of the stud with the center marking channel. DWST14925 The Shallow Pro Organizer comes with removable cups for parts and tools organization. This organizer features anti-rust metal latches. The heavy-duty clear lid allows for visibility.

It Certainly isn’t your typical stud finder, so it takes some practice, but once you know what your doing and not trying to use it like a typical stud finder that searches for the edge of a stud not the center as this one does, then you should have no problems it’s worked for me.
