Just got it about two weeks ago. Was very excited because as a fencing contractor I thought this Laser distance measurer would be great to use on consultations with customers. Does not work well in full daylight. Works great for interior work. The manual is the worst. I will include some pictures of the so anybody can see what I mean. Other than the horrible manual and the daylight issue the DW0165 is a good tool.

Received this in the mail some weeks ago,Its great but for the builder/contractor easy to use the for the non builder it would be hard to use without good instructions.1 What is the little stand like that covers the battery door.2 Needs a metal belt clip.3 Need a back light for the screen

It works when you do not measure at bright sun light area.The press button to measure is causing some issue because when I pressed it moved the measured point. I have to use 2 hands, one hand to hold and other hand to push button to get better readings. When I was on ladder it was hard to use 2 hands.If it is a touch button it would be better.

I have had this for about two weeks and I find it extremely accurate and hand as can be for experienced Workman. A trainee needs too much training so they understand the instructions. If this was written for the laymen it would benefit me much more. As for the unit itself I love it.
