An excellent balance of features and size. Pretty rugged case, and such a small size that it is much easier to keep in my pocket than to keep a tape measure on my belt/pocket. Works great. Seems more accurate than stated. 40 ft is plenty long for most things. Easy to use and plenty accurate for most readings – construction, metalworking, shipping (measuring boxes), etc.Would like to have a historic readings, and would like to have it dynamically display the measurement (you have to click the button in order to turn off the laser and display the reading). However, for size / price point, pretty good. Standard USB charging port is easy and ubiquitous. Cheaper than changing batteries all the time. Lasts a long time on a charge.

Purchased this as my first laser measure about a month ago. Used this regularly at work as a property maintenance guy. Too small and the single button operation method got real inconvenient if you accidentally double click. Gave this one to my brother who can keep it on a shelf in his shop at home. He absolutely loves it. This is great for the home / shop use. However it was not ideal for the field work I do. I “upgraded” to the DW030 and am very happy with the change.

I bought this item a few weeks ago and threw in on my belt for when I went out on job walks. This item has helped so much on giving me an idea on how high ceiling are and how far apart cubicles are. Nothing will ever replace a tape measure; but, when your in a hurry this tool has came in handy.

Works great. I do real estate appraisals so I am measuring interior and exteriors of property off and on throughout the day. The battery holds a charge well so I can keep working with no interruptions. Wish they made more laser measuring tools with a rechargeable battery.

I’ve had this for 6 months now and even tho it’s convenient and small, I just can’t get over how tiny the numbers are to read on the screen. I can’t even make out the last numbers which are the fractions like 1/8 or 1/2. Just to small. Fix that and it’s a 5 star device.
