This is a great little measurer that is one button operation. It will show measurements within 1/4″ accuracy and can display in inches, feet, and meters. This particular measurer is good for distances up to 40 feet, which should meet 90% of someone’s needs. The device uses a lithium ion rechargeable batter for it’s power and comes with the recharging cord and a wrist strap. The measurer’s size allows you to put it into your pocket when not in use. The size and simplicity are what attracted me to this laser measurer. Recommended for the DIYer.

Small and convenient when needing a quick measurement indoors. Didn’t find it as useful outdoors as inside. Also found it to be inaccurate between 1/8″ to 1/4″ to almost 3/8″ on occasion, when I compared it side by side to a physical tape measure. Though maybe 50% of the time it was spot on. So for precision jobs this thing doesn’t cut it. But for quick, indoor measurements not needing 100% accuracy, it was useful.
