The laser level does just what it is supposed to. nice to have the ability to set slopes on two axis. priced lower than similar lasers, probably partly due to there being no lcd display. have to set slope using grade stick or something else as a guide instead of dialing it in on a display. nice to have it as part of the 20v tool line up. Also, it worked well with the laser receiver of another brand that i purchased to use on our dozer and backhoe.

The tripod comes with a 5/8-11 mounting screw and a 1/4-20 mounting adapter that attaches to the 5/8-11 mounting screw. My problem is that the transit that I have is an old one with a 1/2-20 mounting hole (somehow the tripod to it got lost or stolen). I have found an adapter (5/8-11 to 1/2-20), but they are out of stock at the present. Sure wish that they would have included the 1/2-20 as well as the 1/4-20 adapter.At the present I am using in with my laser level which is 1/4-20 on the mounting. The tripod is so easy to put up and take down. Has a strap to tie the legs together and a over the shoulder strap to carry it by.

Great out of the box use, no assembly. Seems sturdy and easy to use. However, doesn’t offer an adapter or second mounting point for the smaller “camera” size of mounting screw.

The tripod is easy to set up. It has rubber feet, so it doesn’t scratch finished flooring. It also came with an additional spacer that screws into the top of the Tripod and onto the laser that I bought to use with the tripod. Works great!!

What a great tripod for layout utilizing our DeWALT lasers and an even better unit for filming video for social media! This DeWALT tripod exceeded our expectations for use on rough terrain and when we realized we could utilize it for video too…icing on the cake. Carry strap is a nice touch also!
